Identify and assess different risk exposures such as credit risk, commodity risk, and operational risk, and define risk mitigation plansReview deal mechanics such as pricing, volume, contract terms, and storage across the value chainMaintain oversight over the daily, weekly, and monthly net revenue and balance sheet reporting processesCompose and analyze developments in the biofuel markets, focusing on supply, demand, and trade flow impactsLead regular business review meetings, provide support and guidance to cross-functional teams, and monitor and analyze financial performanceIdentify areas for improvement to streamline operations and optimize resource allocationTrack and analyze variances between actual and operational performance (KPI), providing root cause analysis and recommendations for corrective actionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related fieldAt least 8 years of experience in physical commodity markets, oil & gas, petrochemicals, biofuels, or similar industryDeep understanding of market fundamentals and the biofuel value chainExperience in refining, trading operations, or commercial controlling strongly preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills and a proactive, hands-on mindsetFluent in English; other languages are a plusWillingness to travel
