Position Overview
Plant Manager Facilities & Utilities – responsible for supporting the delivery of projects across the site, acting as technical expert for utilities.
Responsibilities
* Serve as primary contact (Subject Matter Expert) for users of assigned installations regarding technical aspects of HVAC, water systems (WFI, cooling loop, chillers, process gases), and building utility systems.
* Participate in investigations, deviations and CAPAs related to quality and EHS compliance with cGMP, GEP, SUVA/ASIT, etc.
* Lead or support design and qualification of improvements, changes or upgrades to equipment and plant, monitoring, evaluating and approving supplier interventions for FU equipment.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of a GMP environment.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, automation/technical engineering, biotechnology, chemistry, physics or related sciences.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharma, biotech or chemistry sectors.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Experience with PLC/automation programming (Siemens, Johnson Controls, Allen Bradley).
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Project, OneNote).
* Project management experience.
* Fluency in French and English; knowledge of German is a plus.
