seeking an experienced and compassionate Primary Teacher. This role is essentially to inspire and
empower young learners by delivering engaging and comprehensive instruction, fostering a positive
learning environment, and nurturing their academic, social, and emotional growth in alignment with
educational standards and school objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for co-
planning and delivery of our dual language program through the PYP framework. The role requires a
Primary Teacher who speaks German fluently.
Key Accountabilities
Developing and executing the preparation, planning, and delivering of child-centered learning activities
for the children in class
Using a range and balance of teaching strategies
Being a facilitator in the classroom and taking interactive role with students
Evaluate and assess student progress through ongoing observation, providing constructive feedback
to students and parents
Participate in school training sessions and parent-teacher meetings.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels respected and valued
Ensuring the classroom environment is well-managed, properly ordered and neatly presented
Safeguarding Responsibilities
To comply with safeguarding policies, procedures, and code of conduct
To demonstrate a personal commitment to safeguarding and student/colleague wellbeing
To engage in safeguarding training when required
Act as a safe point of contact for students who may need to discuss issues of safety or wellbeing.
Qualifications & Experience
Valid teaching certification for primary education
Bachelor’s degree in education or any related field.
Possess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills both orally and written English and
German (fluent in German is a requirement).
Good references on request
Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
Several years of experience teaching in Primary school environment
Experience and understanding of the PYP framework are preferred but not essential
