To strengthen our Continuing Education service at the Construction Trades Training Centre in Echallens, we are looking for a
Trainer 80%-100%
Your main missions and tasks
Training and supervision
- Deliver training for machine operators M1 to M7 and other courses related to our catalogue (safety pathways, aerial work platforms, forklifts, etc.)
- Ensure the facilitation of theoretical and practical courses
- Supervise participants and guarantee a safe learning environment
- Assess participants’ skills and provide constructive feedback
- Act as an expert during practical exams
- Ensure objectivity and compliance of evaluations
- Participate in improving evaluation processes
Training development
- Contribute to the design of new training courses in line with sector needs
Machine park maintenance
- Ensure routine maintenance and proper functioning of machines and equipment
- Identify needs for maintenance, repair or replacement
Continuous improvement
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of the service, notably within the framework of internal certification
- Be proactive in proposing improvements facilitating internal and external work
- Suggest continuous improvements to current procedures in the service
- Propose materials facilitating access to information for companies
External events – representation
- Represent the service at external events related to continuing education
- Represent the service at external events promoting construction trades
Your profile
- Essential licences: M1 and M2 for at least 5 years (mandatory)
- Licences M3 to M7, aerial work platform, forklift, crane or truck crane = an advantage
- Solid professional experience in the construction sector in Switzerland
- Knowledge of construction machinery mechanics = an advantage
- Proven experience as an adult trainer, holding the FSEA Certificate (otherwise obligation to obtain it)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 360 suite
- Fluent in French
- Dynamic, autonomous, team spirit, flexibility, sense of responsibility, reliability, rigour
