IT/AV Coordinator Job Description

* We are seeking a detail-oriented IT/AV Coordinator to support our team with technical assistance and equipment maintenance.
* As IT/AV Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our AV systems, resolving technical issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
* Technical Assistance: Assist guests with connecting their devices to our guest wifi network, troubleshoot AV & other equipment, and provide solutions to technical challenges.
* Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on AV equipment, ensure all working environments are safe and tidy, and conduct regular testing.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the Shared Services Centre, Hyatt Service Desk in Chicago, and third-party service providers to resolve technical issues and escalate tickets outside of SLA.
Requirements:
* Knowledge and Skills: Have knowledge of network/wifi configurations, AV setups, Microsoft Office, MS Teams, and Windows clients. Familiarity with hotel applications (Opera PMS, Shiji Infrasys POS, Saflok, Credit card terminals, PBX) is a plus.
* Communication: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is preferred.
* Work Style: Self-starter able to work independently, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
