Responsibilities
1. Perform laboratory-based activities related to the reception, registration, and storage of human biosamples
2. Handle tracking, inventory, processing, and transport of biological samples from clinical and non-clinical studies
3. Manage associated metadata to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer needs
4. Conduct inventory checks such as freezer content verification and sample status reviews
5. Monitor temperatures, freezer capacities, and overall sample integrity
6. Ensure operational excellence in quality, service levels, cost efficiency and compliance
7. Support smooth laboratory operations within a BSL-2 environment
8. Contribute to reliable sample lifecycle management in accordance with GCP and ethical standards
Profile
9. BSc or equivalent degree in Biomedical Research (no PhD)
10. Strong industry experience as a Lab Technician or Research Associate in a biosample-handling environment
11. Hands-on experience with LIMS and other sample data management systems
12. Familiarity with GCP requirements, BSL-2 laboratory practices, and ethical considerations for human samples
13. Proven experience in sample reception, registration, storage, and shipment
14. Fluent English communication skills
15. Ability to understand complex operational processes and propose practical solutions
16. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
17. Customer-oriented mindset with experience supporting research needs efficiently and accurately
