We are looking for a skilled Senior Process Design Engineer – Pharma & Life Sciences to support the design, planning, and delivery of advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, including Biotech, OSD, Secondary Manufacturing, and Cell & Gene Therapy plants. You will be involved in projects from early concept development through to commissioning and qualification.
Key duties of the role include:
* Lead and support the design, planning, and coordination of pharmaceutical process facilities
* Develop key process documentation, including User Requirement Specifications (URS), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and P&IDs, and mass and energy balances
* Lead teams of process engineers
* Prepare tender documentation and support bid evaluations
* Coordinate with vendors post‑award to ensure successful project execution
* Provide support during construction, commissioning, and qualification phases
* Contribute to investments' cost estimates and project budgeting
Here’s what you’ll need:
* Degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering, Biotechnology, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
* Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical plant design and engineering
* Knowledge of pharmaceutical and/or biopharmaceutical production technologies
* Structured and solution‑oriented working style
* Willingness to travel for business as required
* Business fluent in German and/or French (B2), ability to work in English
