We are seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Manager (CTM) to join their Haematology Clinical R&D department. This permanent role offers a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on clinical operations within a collaborative and mission-driven environment.
The Role
As a Clinical Trial Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of global clinical trials, playing a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality study execution across Europe and beyond. This is an ideal position for professionals passionate about improving patient outcomes through scientifically rigorous and ethically sound research, within an environment that balances the scale of a global enterprise with the personal touch of a family-owned business.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the operational aspects of clinical trials from start-up to close-out with minimal supervision.
* Oversee investigative site performance, vendor activities, and trial documentation.
* Participate in the development and review of study-related documents, such as protocols, investigator brochures, and monitoring manuals.
* Conduct site feasibility assessments and support site selection processes.
* Review monitoring reports and ensure adherence to ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with internal departments (Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, etc.) and external stakeholders including CROs, sites, and KOLs.
* Support ongoing departmental improvements in clinical operations and compliance standards.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, nursing, or a related clinical discipline.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in clinical research, ideally in a sponsor or CRO setting, with prior experience as a Clinical Trial Manager.
* Fluent in both English and German (written and spoken).
* Strong operational skills with a detail-oriented mindset and an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities.
* Comfortable working independently with a proactive and collaborative attitude.
* Willingness to travel up to 10% for site visits or meetings.
