1. About the Role:
* We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team as an instructor.
2. Responsibilities:
* Co-design and implement sushi offers that meet high culinary standards.
* Manage daily production, ensuring timely preparation and presentation of dishes.
* Maintain strict adherence to meal plans and kitchen protocols.
* Nurture workshops with high-level pedagogic content, guiding students towards excellence.
* Educate students on essential food safety practices and HACCP implementation.
* Be a role model for academic and professional excellence, inspiring students to strive for greatness.
* Organize purchase orders and manage inventory effectively.
* Guarantee that all kitchen activities align with Moodle course descriptions, promoting seamless learning experiences.
* Maintain impeccable kitchen cleanliness and adhere to HACCP regulations.
About You:
* You have at least 3 years of experience in luxury hotel and restaurant management.
* Your background includes several years of experience in a hotel school environment.
* You possess strong expertise in Asian cuisine, particularly Japanese food.
* Pedagogic certification is an asset but not required.
* You embody an independent personality, capable of working autonomously.
* You bring a strong technical skillset, curiosity about the latest techniques, and attention to detail.
* Your creative and passionate approach drives innovation in the kitchen.
* You have demonstrated the ability to work within multicultural teams and international environments.
* You possess fluency in English, with French being a plus.
* You are committed to continuous improvement, upholding the highest standards of quality.
