Senior Project Manager New Engines (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
1. Are you ready to join our journey towards a low carbon future for marine applications? We are looking for a senior technical project manager new engines who can contribute to drive our Future Fuels strategy
2. Planning and Scheduling: Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
3. Coordination: Work with multiple teams, including engineering, design and local product centres to ensure all project deliverables are ready on time
4. Testing and Validation: Oversee engine test planning to ensure the engine meets design specifications and safety standards
5. Documentation: Maintain records of major project activities to ensure project can be audited against relevant standards
6. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any problems that arise during project execution
7. Communication: Keep all stakeholders informed about the progress and any issues that may impact the project timeline
8. Risk Management: Identify, qualify, quantify and manage project risks, and ensure that all possible scenarios have been given relevant consideration
Requirements:
9. University degree in (Mechanical) Engineering
10. 5-8 years of fundamental experience in project management
11. Minimum 5 years of 2- or 4-stroke diesel/otto engine development, preferably in the marine sector
12. PMP (PMI) Project Management Professional) certificate or equivalent is a plus
13. Good understanding of the engineering process for marine engine development
14. Knowledge of the shipping industry and marine applications and regulations
15. Ability to read and understand technical drawings
16. Passion for prototype development and results achievement
17. Ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment and work within diverse teams with a pragmatic attitude
18. Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
19. Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and manage conflict resolution if needed
