You will be joining a young, dynamic and passionate team. Your role involves advising business teams and stakeholders on regulatory risks, transactions, investigations and compliance matters, while working closely with internal partners and external counsel worldwide. /ppYou will: /pulliProvide competition/antitrust support to MA and other transactions across the MSC Group, including merger control assessment, strategy and filings where relevant. /liliHandle information requests, inquiries and investigations by authorities globally; coordinate document collection and submissions with internal stakeholders and external counsel. /liliConduct legal research; interpret applicable rules, regulations and case law; and support representation of the company before governmental and regulatory bodies as needed. /liliCollaborate closely with other legal functions and business stakeholders to support corporate development and commercial projects. /liliManage external advisers (competition counsel, economists and other experts), ensuring efficient, cost-effective and high-quality support. /liliSupport operational cooperation, including preparing and maintaining self-assessments and guidance for business teams. /li /ulh3YOUR BACKGROUND /h3ulliUniversity degree in law from an accredited university with a focus in competition/antitrust law /liliQualified and admitted to practice law b3 to 5 /b byears’ post-qualification experience /b in competition/antitrust working in a top tier law firm, a multinational company (as in-house lawyer) or at a competition authority or maritime regulator is a real advantage, /liliExperience in the maritime transport, logistics or commodities sectors is a plus. /liliGood analytical and problem-solving skills. You are able to assess facts, identify risks, and provide practical, business-oriented advice. /liliTeam player with a proactive attitude: you enjoy working in a team and work well under pressure. You are able to manage and are responsible for your own matters, you will always team with other members of Legal and Business on any given matter. Strategic decisions are taken jointly. /liliYou are a skilled communicator, and you strive to provide concise business-tailored legal advice.
