Job Responsibilities Manage large and complex IT projects end-to-end, from planning and conception to implementation.
Collaborate closely with the IT department and coordinate activities between business departments and external partners.
Analyze problems and work with the project team to develop solutions and recommendations.
Drive the decision-making process jointly with all relevant stakeholders.
Support process teams, coordinate cross-functional considerations, and implement best practices to optimize workflows.
Build working relationships with Business and IT functions at all levels, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Prepare regular status updates and decision-making documents for steering and executive committees.
Communicate transparently and escalate/report problems promptly.
Ensure project targets are met, manage risks, and implement mitigation measures.
Oversee project budget, timeline, resources, and quality assurance of deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications Completed studies (e.g., University, ETH, FH, HF) in information technology, business informatics, or related fields.
At least X years of professional experience in IT Project Management with a solid IT background.
Experience managing large, complex IT projects within the insurance or financial sectors.
Understanding of current technologies and trends such as Cloud, Big Data, AI, ML, IoT, and data-driven decision-making, and their impact on the insurance marketplace.
Solution-oriented, proactive personality with project leadership experience, motivated and hands-on.
Excellent presentation (PowerPoint) and reporting (Excel, Word) skills.
Ability to work under pressure, collaborate effectively, and communicate complex issues clearly to stakeholders.
Team player, intrinsically motivated to learn new topics, and adaptable to changing priorities.
Familiarity with traditional and agile project management methods and tools, with relevant certifications like IPMA, PMI, SAFe, or similar.
Fluency in German and English; knowledge of French and Italian is advantageous.
