Responsibilities Define and execute the global cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives.
Lead security initiatives across retail environments, including Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems in stores and supply chain and retail operations systems.
Ensure a secure‑by‑design approach across all IT and digital transformation projects.
Develop and maintain global security policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
Protect and secure identities and access management systems (IAM, SSO, MFA, privileged access).
Oversee threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and risk.
Collaborate closely with IT infrastructure, cloud, digital, and retail operations teams.
Manage third‑party security risk (vendors, SaaS platforms, payment providers).
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR and regional data protection requirements.
Report security posture, risks, and KPIs to executive leadership.
Requirements 5+ years of experience in IT security, including leadership responsibilities.
Proven experience securing global or multi‑site retail environments.
Strong understanding of: Retail business processes.
POS systems and store networks.
Demonstrated implementation of secure‑by‑design principles in projects and architecture.
Hands‑on experience with: Endpoint protection and EDR/XDR platforms.
Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Privileged Access Management (PAM).
Zero Trust concepts.
Experience managing security across hybrid and cloud environments.
Strong risk management and governance capabilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Fluent in English (Nordic language skills are a plus).
