Within the Drug Substance Development (DSD) - Manufacturing department, we are looking for a DSP Manufacturing Senior Technician to support large-scale DSP operations (GMP and pilot).
You will be part of a team of technicians, engineers, and scientists specializing in the production and purification of recombinant proteins from animal cells.
Your responsibilities include supporting DSP activities from operational and documentation perspectives: column packing, chromatography, filtrations (tangential, nano, or final).
You will assist in transferring DSP operations to the new site under construction, addressing equipment, process, and automation issues.
You Will Be Responsible For
* Performing operational DSP activities
* Facilitating tech transfer and scaling-up
* Analyzing data, presenting findings, and interacting with QC, QA, and project managers
* Documenting protocols, reports, and procedures
* Maintaining laboratory and clean room functionality
* Participating in continuous improvement projects
* Assisting in testing and qualification of process equipment during changes
Qualifications
* Technician diploma (CFC, HES, BTS, IUT) with 3-5 years' experience in DSP or degree in biochemistry, biology, biotechnology, or equivalent
* Fluent in English and French (additional reading comprehension is a plus)
* Knowledge of DSP processes, BPF, GLP, and GMP
* Proficiency with IT tools (Pack Office, Trackwise/SAP, DeltaV, MES, LIMS)
* Strong teamwork and communication skills with stakeholders across departments
* Experience in pharmaceutical production (DSP development, clinical, or commercial) is preferred
* Operational Excellence training (LEAN, BELT) is a plus
