Continuous Improvement Manager
Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support production process definition to ensure optimization of cost, quality, and on-time delivery of product. Each day, you will participate in the sequence definition, cycle time calculation, and analysis of the working phases of new production processes/products. You will also showcase your knowledge by sharing TPM and cycle time data and improvement ideas with internal teams.
* TPM (Total Productive Maintenance): Handle tool management activities, including but not limited to maintenance, purchasing, standardization, and ensuring functionality and calibration.
* Assure production line availability ensuring preventative maintenance is adhered to and review data to support improvement interventions.
* Collaborate with internal customers and external suppliers to meet tool requirements.
* Project Support: Support Continuous Improvement Specialist with lean projects.
* Training: Develop and implement training documents for TPM, 5S, ESD and other relevant areas. Conduct training sessions for coworkers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Time Keeping: Perform time studies on all prioritized process steps to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency. Ensure the documented times in SAP are correct to actual baseline times from your measured time study.
* Order Processing: Place and confirm orders in “Smart Buy”. Tracking of orders to assure correct and timely arrival.
Your Qualifications
* Demonstrated a clear focus on safe work practices with a dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
* Demonstrated work ethic characterized by motivation, willingness to handle tasks, and a willingness to take initiative.
* Comfortable in a teaching environment with the ability to effectively communicate information to a group but also to tailor your teaching approach for individualized learning experiences.
* Good knowledge of current tools used in operations.
* Experience working with SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Good organization, collaborative and problem‑solving skills.
* Minimum of two years of experience in UPS manufacturing.
* Yellow Belt certified and English language a plus.
