Key responsibilities:
* Lead system engineering activities related to landing gear design, integration, and validation.
* Drive the development and certification of sub-systems including Wheels, Brakes & Tyres, Nose Landing Gear Steering, and Shimmy Damper.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical and hydraulic and software engineering.
* Develop and review system requirements, specifications, and verification plans.
* Support risk analysis, testing, and certification activities related to landing gear systems.
Ideal candidate:
* Degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
* Extensive experience as a Systems Engineer specializing in landing gear systems.
* Proven expertise in the development and certification of Wheels, Brakes & Tyres, Nose Landing Gear Steering, and Shimmy Damper.
* Strong knowledge of aeronautical standards and certification processes.
* English mandatory; knowledge of German or other languages is a plus.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
