PpOn behalf of our client, global event company with entities in multiple countries, we are looking for an experienced, motivated and dynamic professional for a position located in the canton Basel, Switzerland as: /p pbGeneral Counsel 100% /b /p h3Tasks /h3 pbYour Responsibilities: /b /p ul liResponsible for advising the CEO and Senior Executive Team on all legal and commercial matters affecting the Company’s reputation, risk, and strategy /li liResponsible for working closely with the Senior Executive Team on corporate and commercial strategy, including business and corporate development initiatives /li liResponsible for supporting the development of the global strategy and its implementation in commercial transactions /li liResponsible for leading and supporting major transactions and negotiations, including MA, partnerships, and similar matters /li liStructure deals and guide execution for new business/corporate development /li liLead and manage board and corporate approval processes /li liProvide legal support for fair operations (e.g. content, infrastructure, etc) /li liEmbed the Company’s Group governance compliance best practice across the business /li liBuild and implement legal tools and processes for Company operations /li liAlign legal and risk requirements outcomes across the Company’s value chain (galleries, visitors/VIP’s, partnerships, operations) /li liStandardise and professionalise the Company’s legal outputs (eg visitor rules, exhibition regs, online terms) /li liProvide legal support to the HR team, including employment and organisational matters. /li liManage and resolve commercial disputes /li liLiaise and align with the Company Group’s legal, risk, finance and tax functions as required /li liLiaise with the Company Group’s Board of Directors as required /li liResponsible for the instruction of external counsel and the management of the Company’s legal budget. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 pbYour Profile: /b /p ul liLaw degree with a strong fo...
