Contract Opportunity | SAP S/4HANA Finance Support / Controllership Consultant | Life Sciences
I’m currently supporting a global life sciences organisation on the search for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Support / Controllership Consultant to support a major finance transformation programme.
This is a strong fit for someone with a blend of controllership / financial reporting expertise and experience supporting SAP-led finance change, particularly around S/4HANA upgrades, data validation, process validation, migration support, and post-go-live stabilisation.
Key areas of focus:
* Supporting finance teams through an SAP S/4HANA programme across multiple entities
* Coordinating site/entity-level activities linked to upgrade and transformation work
* Supporting data validation, migration activity, and finance process readiness
* Assisting with post-implementation issue resolution and operational stabilisation
* Owning month-end activities including journals, analysis, and close support
* Supporting balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, statutory reporting, and audit activity
* Contributing to finance governance, working groups, and wider transformation initiatives
Ideal profile:
* Strong technical accounting and financial reporting background
* Prior experience working in SAP finance environments
* Exposure to S/4HANA transformation, upgrade, or post-go-live support
* Strong stakeholder management skills across finance and operational teams
* Comfortable operating in a detailed, hands-on, change-oriented environment
This is not a pure SAP configuration role — it is better suited to someone sitting at the intersection of finance controllership, reporting, and ERP programme support.
