We are hiring a Legal Counsel (m/f) (100%) to support our brand Tissot with a focus on commercial law.Your RoleAs a member of the Group's legal department, you will handle the legal matters of the well-known brand Tissot. In this position, you will interact daily with various departments of the company, from marketing to sales, from logistics to customer service, as well as finance and human resources, on a variety of legal questions. You will contribute to major projects at the corporate level, such as the launch of new products like Tissot Connect, the further development of online sales, or new IT solutions, and support our brand Tissot in distribution matters, also from a competition law perspective, while preparing the corresponding contracts. You will enforce our intellectual property rights, negotiate contracts in marketing for sponsorship events, brand ambassadors, and advertising campaigns. You will handle labor law and real estate issues, negotiate lease agreements, and respond to legal inquiries in corporate and social contexts. In close collaboration with external counsel, you will manage any litigation proceedings. You will ensure compliance with corporate policies across various operational areas and conduct regular training sessions. Finally, you will interact with your colleagues from the Group's subsidiaries abroad to play a key role in critical aspects of major projects in a motivated and talented team of lawyers.Your workplace is Biel, with at least one day per week in Le Locle directly at the production site.Knowledge and SkillsYou are well-versed in commercial law, hold a law degree or an equivalent qualification, and have several years of professional experience in a law firm specializing in corporate law. You are familiar with business projects and are comfortable handling complex contracts with parties in diverse fields. You are a native French or German speaker with very good knowledge of the other language and are accustomed to communicating in French, English, and German. You have a passion for your role, along with a special ability to easily recognize legal and economic relationships, and you know how to correctly assess opportunities and risks. You apply your excellent legal knowledge and experience for the efficient review, analysis, drafting, and negotiation of contracts across various legal areas and independently and proactively develop solutions. You have negotiation skills, perseverance, and demonstrate determination. You excel at succinctly communicating with management and understanding the business processes at play. You are responsible, loyal, resilient, and characterized by your flexibility and adaptability.
