Back-end Software Engineer
For the Aerospace & Aeronautics Business Line, TXT E SWISS is looking for a Back-end Software Engineer to join its team in Switzerland.
The selected candidate will be involved in the development of software applications for ground-based training systems, contributing to advanced solutions supporting pilot training within an international and highly technological environment.
Main Responsibilities
Design and develop software modules for ground-based training systems using C++;
Develop user interfaces using Qt/QML;
Integrate third-party software modules and components;
Produce and maintain technical project documentation;
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Technical Requirements
Experience in C++ software development;
Experience in software integration activities;
Good knowledge of software development best practices and debugging techniques.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Qt/QML;
Familiarity with Windows operating systems;
Knowledge of tools such as JIRA and Jenkins;
Previous experience in the aerospace/aeronautics industry will be considered a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication abilities;
Flexibility and ability to work in dynamic environments;
Excellent written and spoken English;
Knowledge of German will be considered an advantage.
Required Experience
Mid-level profile with 3–5 years of experience in software development.
