Responsibilities

* Prepare and supervise all pastry, bakery, and dessert items according to Uniworld standards and HACCP hygiene procedures.
* Ensure excellent product quality, presentation, and consistency in taste, texture, and temperature.
* Organize daily work efficiently and maintain cleanliness and order in the pastry area.
* Supervise and train assigned pastry staff, ensuring smooth and timely service.
* Manage inventory, storage, and stock control, FIFO, labelling, temperature checks.
* Minimize waste and report any issues or equipment defects to the Executive Chef.
* Support Uniworld’s “Up Serve” guest experience philosophy.


Qualifications

* Proven pastry experience in 4‑ or 5‑star hotels and/or cruise ships.
* Accredited Pastry Culinary School education.
* Strong knowledge of modern pastry trends and techniques.
* Excellent eye for elegant presentation and detail.
* Actively participate in assigned learning activities, training sessions, and mandatory safety or emergency drills.
* Demonstrate strong proficiency in English.
