Overview Falmouth Public Schools is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Human Resources Manager to lead and manage the district's human resources operations. This position plays a key role in supporting staff and administrators while ensuring compliance with employment laws, collective bargaining agreements, and Maine Department of Education requirements.

Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day HR operations for the district
Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and employee separations
Administer employee benefits and leave programs, including open enrollment
Maintain personnel records and HR systems in compliance with state and federal regulations
Support labor relations and assist with collective bargaining administration
Coordinate required employee trainings and policy compliance
Provide guidance to administrators on employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary processes
Analyze workforce data and support staffing and retention initiatives
Serve as the district\'s Affirmative Action Officer and Title IX Coordinator
Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5–7 years of progressively responsible HR experience, preferably in a public sector or school district setting
Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws
Experience with employee relations and labor relations preferred
HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) preferred
Maine DOE CHRC fingerprinting required prior to employment
Compensation and Benefits The position offers an annual salary range of $90,000 to $110,000, depending on experience.
