Job Description
Job Summary
The Credit Bureau Manager oversees daily functions related to Credit Bureau Reporting and Disputes, including responding to disputes, processing rejects, reviewing controls, and analyzing data to ensure accurate reporting. The manager ensures effective processing within SLA standards while maintaining quality and compliance with policies and laws. This role manages a team of Credit Bureau specialists and collaborates with Credit Reporting agencies to resolve rejects and exceptions.
Job Duties
* Monitor and respond to disputes from CRAs or customers, ensuring investigations and responses comply with FCRA and Metro2 Standards, while monitoring SLAs and quality.
* Ensure timely execution of Credit Bureau controls and process exceptions within SLA.
* Review rejected data records and coordinate corrections with Credit Bureaus.
* Maintain compliance with internal policies and FCRA regulations, continuously reviewing and improving processes.
* Provide coaching and development to team members, supporting workload management and obstacle resolution.
* Coordinate with other departments during new product launches to ensure accurate CRA reporting.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience
* College degree or equivalent experience.
* Minimum six years of relevant experience, including one year in management.
* Two years of experience in Credit Bureau Reporting and Disputes.
* Extensive knowledge of FCRA requirements and Metro2 Standards.
* Proficiency with e-Oscar and Microsoft Suite.
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
* Intermediate Excel skills, including data analysis, v-lookups, and pivot tables.
Exeter Finance LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Compensation varies based on skill set, experience, and qualifications, ranging from $57,800 to $79,400 annually.
