Head of the Human Resources Management Department The Human Resources Service (SRH) of the University of Lausanne (Unil) supports the Management, faculties, and services in implementing coherent human resources policies tailored to the institution’s needs. It manages HR for staff, provides HR tools, and offers specialized support to Unil units, thereby contributing to the proper functioning and development of the University. To strengthen its team, the Human Resources Service is looking for a Head of the Human Resources Management Department Related to the position Start date: May 1 or to be agreed Duration: permanent Work rate: 80% - 100% Work location: Dorigny Your activities Directly subordinate to the Director of the Human Resources Service and a member of its management committee, alongside 5 heads of specialized departments, the head of the Human Resources Management Department participates in SRH management, defines priorities, and leads the HR management framework of Unil to ensure its quality, coherence, and effectiveness. The department groups HR units, each under the responsibility of an HR manager and composed of an HR advisor and specialized HR managers, as well as a person dedicated to learning. The department comprises a staff of 25 people. The position holder supports the development and implementation of policies, tools, and HR practices in a service-oriented, institutional coherence, and continuous logic, in response to Unil's challenges and its functional profile. Profile Driven by a sense of public service and benefiting from recognized experience in the field of human resources (Master's in work psychology, public policy and management, or law), you have several years of experience in a similar position and excellent knowledge of labor law as well as the public management field. Recognized for your friendly personality, solution-oriented mindset, high efficiency, and real interpersonal skills.
