For our client in the financial services industry, we are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a high-impact, enterprise-wide transformation initiative.
This role focuses on reshaping and harmonizing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) across the organization, driving modern engineering practices and enabling the transition toward an AI-ready environment. You will act as the strategic link between business and technology, working with international and cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
Lead a CHF 15m+ transformation program focused on SDLC harmonization
Orchestrate cross-functional teams across engineering, architecture, security, risk, compliance, operations, and data/AI
Drive executive stakeholder management and contribute to governance decision-making
Ensure delivery of measurable business outcomes such as time-to-market, quality, and resilience
Plan and execute standards adoption and AI-readiness initiatives across organizational units
Own end-to-end project delivery including scope, budget, risks, dependencies, and reporting
Foster engagement through effective communication, branding, and internal events
Requirements
7+ years of experience leading transformation and software delivery projects
4–6 years of experience in the banking or financial services sector
Proven track record in executive stakeholder management
Strong knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and organizational transformation
Experience with Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum), DevSecOps, and CI/CD
Project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, or IPMA)
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills in international environments
Fluent in English (German is a plus)
