Role Description
We are looking for an accountant (50%) to join our team in Altendorf (SZ)
Main Responsibilities
* Responsibility for the accounting cycle, including audits, and closing of annual financial statements in collaboration with our fiduciary
* General accounting and financial reporting including external audits etc.
* Managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable
* Assisting the Managing Director in producing the quarterly management reports
* Preparing quarterly VAT declarations
* Monitoring currency exchange operations
* Monitoring commodity futures operations
* Optimization of accounting and financial processes
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of Accounting principles, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
* Experience in General Ledger management and Reconciliations
* Proficiency in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Forecasting
* Ability to conduct Financial Analysis and ensure compliance with Accounting Standards
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Professional certification such as CPA or equivalent is a plus
* Proficiency in accounting softwares and MS Office
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Fluency in English and German is required
