Job Description
The IT System Administrator will be located in the Geneva office and will report to the local Infrastructure Team Leader.
1. Hands-on and multi-tasking: including installation, upgrades, configuration, administration and maintenance of mostly Windows server based systems
2. Manage local and remote office projects from beginning to end
3. Maintain bespoke application environments for Trading application infrastructure; upgrade, patch, provision
4. Vendor management, providers & other internal business teams
5. Cover working hours and expect duty to expand beyond normal business hours, including some weekends
6. BAU 3rd line support & occasional 1st & 2nd level support escalation
7. May be required to travel to remote office locations
Qualifications
8. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
9. Preferably Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or related active IT certifications
10. Proficient in Active Directory Domain Services administration, DNS, DHCP and Group Policies
11. Proficient in Windows Server Administration (Windows 2016 and above). Windows Core experience beneficial
12. Proficient VMware ESXi and vCenter administration (7.0 at least), including experience with the upgrade cycle
13. Good experience working with NetApp storage (FAS and E-Series), NFS/CIFS protocols
14. Experience in Microsoft 365 products including Azure AD
15. Proficient in Veeam backup technologies
16. SQL Server Administration, Installation, configuration
17. Centreon Monitoring Platform
18. Proficient in Citrix XenApp & Desktop 7.x, NetScaler ADC, Citrix Studio/Director, Citrix DaaS will be a plus
19. Good experience working with Exchange Server Administration (Exchange 2016 and above) – mailbox management, retention policies, message troubleshooting & SMTP relay settings
20. Enhance team productivity and repetitive tasks by using, PowerShell, Python or Power BI, will be a plus
21. Manage Microsoft patch cycle and deploy patches to Servers using SCCM
22. Good working knowledge of SCCM
23. Global Networking topology understanding (DMZ, load balancing, firewall, Vlans, etc…)
24. Proficient experience working with datacenters (racking hardware, patching and HPE iLO configuration)
