Description As a Principal AI Solutions Consultant at Vector8 in Switzerland, you will lead client engagements at the intersection of AI strategy, solution architecture, and technical delivery. You will shape the approaches that define how enterprise clients build, govern, and scale AI - and you will own the relationship long enough to see whether they actually land. You will work closely with consultants and engineering leads, and depending on the engagement, you will own the client relationship directly or serve as the technical lead. Either way, the quality of thinking in the room is your responsibility. Requirements 8 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in technology or AI consulting in client-facing roles Proventrack recordadvising senior stakeholders on AI, data, or digital transformation programs in regulated industries - Swiss financial services or insurance strongly preferred - pharma, public sector, or comparable regulated environments also considered Experience leading or significantly contributing to multi-workstream engagements spanning both business and technical components Deep domainexpertisein at least one of: classical ML andMLOps, GenAI application development (RAG, evals, LLM orchestration), agentic systems, data platforms and architecture, AI strategy and operating model design, or responsible AI and model risk - with strong working knowledge of the adjacent areas Meaningful exposure to AI governance: EU AI Act, model risk management frameworks, or enterprise AI controls - enough to lead a client conversation, not just reference the regulation Strong technical understanding of AI, ML, and modern data architectures- hands-on coding is notrequired, but you must be able to read an architecture critically, conduct a credible design review, and challenge engineering decisions on substance Strategy-consultant craft: structured problem-solving, clear written communication, comfort framing recommendations for C-suite and board-level audiences Commercial awareness: shaping engagement scope, owning proposals, and contributing to account growth Comfortable in a lean, entrepreneurial environment where you build the firm while you deliver for clients
