Senior Accountant (m/w/d) in an International Environment
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support our finance team in managing daily, weekly, and monthly financial processes for our international subsidiaries.
Primary responsibilities:
* Manage accounting for sales subsidiaries, including:
o General ledger, accounts payable/receivable, monthly and annual closings, ad-hoc reports, and budgets
o Tracking and reconciling intercompany balances and coordinating settlements in collaboration with global accounting
* Take ownership of the monthly and annual closing processes for our international subsidiaries
* Coordinate with local accountants, tax advisors, and auditors
Secondary responsibilities:
* Prepare and review financial statements and management reports for international subsidiaries (Swiss GAAP FER)
* Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements
Your Profile
* Required Qualifications
o Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
o At least five years of experience in an international group environment (accounting/reporting)
o Experience with ERP systems (Sage or Business Central is a plus)
o Strong Excel and data organization skills
o Familiarity with intercompany and multi-entity environments
o Solid understanding of Swiss GAAP FER and/or German GAAP
o Excellent English skills; German is a plus
o Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
