My client is an established multi-office boutique with an excellent reputation and they are expanding and recruiting an extra Investment Banking Analyst in London.
The ideal candidate will have accrued investment banking training at a leading investment or well-regarded boutique and will have built up live transactional experience, have an outstanding education and be seeking a new and different investment banking environment.
This firm will represent an excellent option if you're seeking the opportunity to work with high calibre (and often retained) clients, want to work on live engagements almost all the time, enjoy numbers and performing deep company and sector analysis. You are likely to also gain greater client and senior level exposure.
Clients are large cap, listed, midcap and UK and European. You will work on projects in a variety of sectors - Healthcare, Technology, Natural Resources, Industrials and FIG.
Key duties centre on:
1. Key involvement in the origination and execution of Corporate Finance transactions across multiple sectors
2. Production of deep financial analysis, company performance and sector analysis
3. Key involvement in the preparation of presentations for clients and regular interaction with them
4. Playing an active role in the execution of mandates
5. Attendance at meetings
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
1. M&A experience accrued within a leading investment banking firm, working in a sector team, specialist M&A group or country IB team
2. Thorough financial analysis experience skills and ability to think commercially
3. Extensive experience in preparing presentation materials and advanced financial modelling skills
4. Oustanding academic credentials
5. Enjoy working in a team and possessing excellent written and spoken communication skills
