Main Accountabilities:
1. Process Support to cement global operations.
2. Lead process assessments to detect and improve pyro process conditions.
3. Optimize cement production lines.
4. Train process engineers in operations facilities.
5. Develop novel technologies to be deployed in cement process.
6. Apply knowledge of CO2 capture technologies
7. Process support and commissioning expansion projects for new lines.
8. Coordinate and lead activities or projects in cement plants.
9. Evaluation of new technologies (kilns, burners, pre-heaters, etc.)
10. Impact assessment of new alternative fuels in pyro-process.
11. Evaluate emissions impact in the cement process lines.
Position Requirements:
12. Academic background desirable is Chemical Engineer or Process Engineer (with a bachelor’s degree) and Master’s degree (PhD is a plus).
13. 5+ years of experience in cement industry as process engineer, or supervisor, or operator inside the cement industry
14. Knowledge of the manufacturing process in the cement industry
15. Understanding of the process required in the different areas of the cement industry
16. Communication skills, able to develop networks in cement plants.
17. Multifunctional skills and able to be analytic, define, and solve any problems in the daily operation of the cement plants.
18. Fluent written and spoken English is a must, any other languages Spanish, German, French is an advantage
