ABOUT THE JOB
A Senior Solution Consultant will become an expert in OneStream technology and use this expertise on a daily basis to present the value proposition and benefit of our solutions to partners, prospects, customers and internally supporting our sales force. A Senior Solution Consultant as a member of our Presales team will participate in the design, validation, and presentation of OneStream solutions based on customer needs which vary in complexity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Shortening the sales cycle by delivering flawless standard and custom product demonstrations to mid and C-level executives in the Office of Finance.
2. Providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers, while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision.
3. Acting as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants, Sales Development, and Sales Representatives.
4. Transforming business requirements/challenges into Proof of Concept presentations.
5. Developing and delivering high quality OneStream presentations and demonstrations.
6. Presenting and articulating advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall OneStream solutions.
7. Improving/maintaining standard demo assets to ensure top-notch sales presentations.
8. Designing, validating, and presenting Database & OneStream Cloud solutions to include advanced product concepts and future direction.
9. Developing and managing references through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
10. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
Required Education and Experience
11. Bilingual - English and German
12. BS Degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable in Computer Science or Technology related degree.
13. Technical experience with OneStream or similar CPM tools.
14. 6+ years of experience in Database Management including building, developing, and deploying applications.
15. Proven ability in performing rapid assessments of customers’ landscape and targeting use cases and deployment targets for Cloud technology. Ability to provide
16. guidance in the evaluation of OneStream’s Cloud solution.
17. Experience in a customer-facing role such as consultant, technical solutions engineer, or solutions architect.
18. Extraordinary presentation and public speaking skills.
19. Must have the ability to lead technical discussions and identify the right solution for our customer’s needs.
20. Versed and experienced with business analysis and financial modelling.
21. Background in Finance/Accounting.
22. Impeccable attention to detail.
Preferred Education and Experience
23. Previous experience as a Services Consultant, Database Administrator, or Technical Pre-Sales is preferred.
