Who We Are Looking ForWe’re looking for a driven and strategic sales talent with a passion for sport and a hunter mentality as a Sponsorship Sales Manager (m/f/d) 80-100%. You’ll build global partnerships, craft compelling sponsorship solutions, and work closely with clubs, leagues, and rights holders to create real value for brands and fans alike.This is your chance to take centre stage in international sports marketing — combining data-driven insights, digital innovation, and storytelling to shape the future of sponsorship.Your main tasks1. Infront rights and packagesProactively identify and engage new sponsorship clients worldwide to expand our market reachSell predefined rights packages with a strong focus on winter sports, (e.g., IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships, Champions Hockey League, Curling and EHF Handball EURO’s)Drive outbound sales through cold outreach, relationship building, and strategic lead targetingRepresent Infront’s virtual and digital advertising solutions to maximise brand exposure and ROI for partners2. Third party salesAct as the main commercial contact for assigned third-party winter sports rights, including leagues, clubs and competitionsDevelop customised partnership proposals aligned with clients’ objectives and the sports/events’ positioningUse a consultative sales approach to craft tailored and compelling sponsorship offerings3. Data, analytics & consumer researchUtilise market data, sponsorship trends and competitor insights to sharpen and personalise your sales pitchesApply performance metrics and ROI case studies to strengthen your value propositions and client conversationsYour profileYou have 5–8 years’ experience in sponsorship sales or related fields, with at least 5 years focused on international sports marketing rights, preferably in winter sportsYou bring a proven hunter mentality and excel in new business development, cold acquisition, and solution sellingYou have a strong international network and demonstrate the ability to build and nurture client relationships across multiple marketsYou have a deep working knowledge of the entire sales funnel and a solid understanding of sponsorship contract structures and negotiationYou are comfortable with regular international travel across different time zones and experienced in using sponsorship analytics tools (e.g. Nielsen, YouGov)You confidently engage with C-level brand contacts, presenting persuasive, clear, and tailored value propositionsYou are digitally savvy, using AI tools and CRM (e.g. HubSpot) to enhance sales productivity and client managementYou have excellent presentation and storytelling skills, combined with a deep understanding of sponsorship KPIs and marketing strategiesYou thrive in fast-paced environments, are adaptable and resilient, and comfortable working independently or within a teamYou are fluent in English and proficient in German; additional languages are a plusWhat we offerWorking in a hybrid model which allows you to work from our office and from homeRelaxed & familiar working atmosphere, flat hierarchies, positive spirit and many degrees of freedom in your daily workSupport in developing your skills and talents through individual trainings and group workshops, attending (sports) events and networking eventsSocial benefits, such as a subsidised company pension plan, capital-forming benefits and worldwide accident insurance in a private wardAre you ready to actively shape and elevate every aspect of the sports industry?
