This is a global role and reports to the Digital Performance Management Director. The ideal candidate should have experience with high-level programming languages such as Python. They should also be familiar with automation in manufacturing, including PLC programming, and have knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies like IIoT sensors. Additionally, proficiency in SQL for relational databases is required. This role will lead the corresponding data collection from automated equipment controller, manual operator interfaces and interfaces to other Manufacturing Systems like Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Statistical Process Control (SPC); and will act as SME for all Digital Performance Management tools, liaison with IT and key stakeholders, and will lead all development activities, in-house and third-party. /p pThe Sr System Software Engineer is a global role and reports to the Digital Performance Management Director within the Digital Transformation organization. The primary location is Tolochenaz, Switzerland. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. /li liDesigns, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs for enhancements and maximizes new products. /li liDetermines hardware compatibility and/or influences design. /li liCollaborates with cross functional teams to determine customer and product software design requirements. /li liGenerate systems software engineering policies, standards, and procedures. /li liManages the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support).
