Production Manager - Robotics Expert

This is a challenging role for an experienced production manager who wants to lead the development of our robotic technology. Our team is responsible for building prototype and zero-series robots, as well as maintaining customer robots and supporting research and development teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering and experience in managing fast-growing production organizations. They should be able to develop and execute overall production strategies, identify process enhancements, and collaborate with various teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.

Your Responsibilities:

* Develop Overall Production Strategies: Create end-to-end short- and long-term plans to meet production targets, timelines, and quality standards.
* Manage Contract Manufacturing Relationship: Take ownership of regular communication and performance management with contract manufacturers.
* Implement Process Enhancements: Identify and implement improvements for higher production efficiency, cost reduction, and error minimization.
* Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with various teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.


Requirements:

* Bachelor's/Master's Degree: In mechanical or electrical engineering, with further education in operations management.
* Experience: At least 5 years leading production organizations in the high-tech industry.
* Skills: Strong conceptual and communication skills, excellent IT skills, and very good German and English language skills.

* Lean and Agile Practices: Experience guiding enterprises in scaling lean and agile practices.
* Driving License: Category B license.
* Measurement Technologies: Knowledge in measurement technologies and concepts.
