A lakeside restaurant has requested our assistance in finding their future: Maître d'Hôtel (M/F) JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for an experienced Maître d'Hôtel to join a restaurant known for its quality cuisine inspired by the local area, its hospitality with a capital H, and its loyal and regular clientele. The establishment accommodates up to 600 covers per day in an elegant, friendly, and warm atmosphere by the waterfront. As the true conductor of the dining room, you embody the spirit of the establishment and are responsible for the quality of service, customer reception, and team cohesion. - Manage and unite a team of about 50 along with other Maîtres d'Hôtel.- Supervise the service of a high-volume dining room while maintaining a high level of expectation.- Be present on the ground, in contact with customers and the teams.- Ensure elegant service, including table-side service.- Ensure the quality of the reception, customer satisfaction, and the overall experience.- Ensure communication between the dining room, kitchen, and management.- Participate in the management of supplier orders and stock monitoring.- Convey the standards of the establishment and instill a service-oriented and excellence-driven team spirit.PROFILEYou must have proven experience in a responsible position in the hospitality sector. You enjoy the ambiance of a luxury brasserie, value human contact, and know how to combine professionalism with flexibility. You are dynamic, proactive, versatile, and possess excellent stress management skills; you demonstrate authority and are fully engaged in the dining room, as you will actively participate in service alongside your team.
