Job Description

As a Sales Development Manager for our newly established business unit for the DACH market, you bridge Marketing and Sales by turning marketing-generated leads into qualified sales opportunities. You actively engage prospects, identify business needs, and ensure a smooth handover to the responsible Account Executive - while contributing valuable customer insights to Marketing and supporting the continuous follow-up and optimization of joint initiatives. This is a clearly sales-driven role with strong collaboration across teams. You will be part of a small, ambitious team within a global organization. 1. Proactively contact and qualify Marketing Qualified Leads (., from webinars, events, campaigns) through structured multi-channel outreach (phone, email, automation tools such as HubSpot Sequences, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms)
2. Conduct structured qualification and discovery calls to assess customer needs, buying intent, key stakeholders, and decision-makers within the buying process
3. Schedule and prepare meetings for Account Executives and ensure accurate and structured CRM documentation
4. Drive pipeline progression through consistent follow-ups and relationship building
5. Provide hands-on feedback to Marketing on lead quality, messaging, and campaign effectiveness
6. Support marketing activities such as moderating webinars, attending events, or proactively engaging in campaign follow-ups, helping turn engagement into real conversations
7. Drive targeted, account-based outreach initiatives by identifying strategic accounts, proactively working through curated lead lists, presenting international case studies, and converting interest into qualified discovery meetings

Qualifications

8. 2-5 years of experience in Sales, Inside Sales, or Business Development (B2B preferred)
9. Curious about B2B software and motivated to quickly understand complex solutions and customer challenges
10. You enjoy being the dynamic bridge between Marketing and Sales, translating campaign momentum into real business opportunities
11. You love picking up the phone, reaching out on LinkedIn, or testing new outreach ideas. Starting conversations energizes you.
12. You don't just manage pipeline - you actively build it and take ownership of your impact.
13. Growth mindset: you constantly look for ways to improve messaging, conversion rates, and processes.
14. Comfortable using modern sales tech and automation tools (. HubSpot, sequences, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) and excited to experiment and optimize.
15. Confident communicator who feels comfortable in calls, at events, and even moderating webinars

17. Fluent German and English language skills
