As a Supply Chain Quality Manager – High-Volume Parts (m/f/d), you will play a key role in driving quality excellence and quality improvement across our global value chain for high volume turbocharger parts. This role goes beyond managing current quality management — you will actively shape and implement quality assurance processes, that strengthen supply chain quality and resilience to create long-term value. Your Responsibilities: Quality Strategy Develop and implement robust supply chain quality strategy, framework and processes for high-volume manufacturing environment (PPAP). Quality Assurance Define and maintain quality standards, procedures, and documentation (e.g., control plans, work instructions). Establish and manage quality gates and processes with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Lead process validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) and ensure production readiness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Suppliers, Quality Inspection, Logistics and Production) to ensure quality requirements are met. Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks early in the supply process, collaborating closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to enhance part quality. Serve as the quality representative for high volume parts, ensuring early integration of quality standards and effective use of lessons learned. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Quality Performance Establish statistical process control methods and monitor key quality metrics. Quality Continuous Improvement Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Manage non-conformance processes and implement corrective and preventive actions. Your Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management or a related field. Several years of experience in quality engineering within high-volume manufacturing environment. Experience with process validation and industrialization. Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including APQP, PPAP, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Proactive, self-driven, and accountable - you identify opportunities, take ownership, and deliver measurable improvements. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and organizational levels. Fluent in English and German.
