Junior Actuary / Business Analyst (Life & Health) Company Description

Role Description
We’re looking for a high-potential junior actuary/business analyst (or final-year student) to support pricing, reserving, and portfolio analytics across Life & Health lines.
What you’ll do
Build and maintain actuarial models (preferably in Mo.net or similar) to support pricing, reserving, valuation, and scenario analysis.
Analyse experience data and produce clear insights for underwriting, product, and management.
Automate recurring tasks (e.g., data pipelines, reporting) using programming languages and Excel .
Contribute to product design, assumptions setting, and technical documentation.
Support reserving processes, including best estimate liabilities and technical provisions.
Assist with Solvency II and/or Swiss Solvency Test (SST) capital calculations, reporting, and risk analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams while managing your own workstream end-to-end.
What you bring
Junior actuary or business analyst; studying toward an actuarial qualification is welcome.
Knowledge of Life & Health insurance concepts.
Familiarity with reserving methods as well as Solvency II and/or Swiss Solvency Test (SST) frameworks.
Proficiency with actuarial tooling ( Mo.net a strong plus) and solid skills in programming (e.g. VBA) and Excel .
Fluent English ; additional languages valued (French, Dutch, German).
Able to work autonomously and as part of a team; open-minded and curious.
Work setup & contract
Part-time or full-time.
Remote/nomadic or on-site in Flanders (Belgium) .
Employee or contractor, under Swiss or Belgian law .
