360 Labs Initiative at a Glance
The 360 Labs are a new capability within the Pharmaceutical Research and Early Development organization (pRED). The primary mission is to provide greater access and support for cutting-edge biomedical research technologies by scientists across our discovery portfolio.
The 360 Labs will deliver core scientific technologies, expertise, and enabling activities, facilitating knowledge sharing in close collaboration with therapeutic areas and functions. Our goal is to foster an environment where collaboration and excellence thrive, supporting research and development to increase speed, robustness, and sustainability of early discovery activities.
The Opportunity
The Proteomics & Metabolomics Technology Platform in the 360 Labs Initiative seeks an experienced, highly motivated, collaborative, and customer-centric scientist passionate about functional proteomics approaches to support early drug discovery. The candidate should have a strong background in life sciences and broad experience in developing complex proteomics workflows to investigate post-translational modifications, activation states, localization, and interactions of proteins across the proteome. You will work with a sense of urgency within a matrix team, collaborating with experts across therapeutic areas to advance drug discovery projects and evolve the platform.
* Plan, design, execute, and analyze experiments to characterize disease biology, model systems, and support target assessment and drug mechanisms;
* Develop and optimize innovative proteomics workflows, integrating experimental and computational methods;
* Apply scientific rigor to ensure high-quality, FAIR data, collaborating with bioinformatics teams to analyze LC-MS proteomics data, and preparing comprehensive reports for stakeholders;
* Engage with scientific literature, present findings internally and at conferences, and stay at the forefront of proteomics technology.
Who you are
* PhD in Biochemistry or related field, with postdoctoral or industry experience;
* Skilled in designing and executing complex functional proteomics studies, experienced with technologies such as BioID, µMaps, LOPIT, APEX, TPP, IP-MS;
* Exceptional in analyzing and interpreting proteomics data, with additional OMICS expertise considered a plus;
Additional qualities include being customer-focused, growth-oriented, creative problem-solver, excellent communicator in English, and able to thrive in a dynamic, inclusive environment.
