Position: Green Coffee Trader
Location: Zug (Switzerland) or Vienna (Austria)
We are looking for a senior green coffee trader to strengthen our European operations, with a strong focus on the German-speaking market. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, quality-driven, and deeply connected within the green coffee community.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow your own green coffee trading book (P&L responsibility).
* Source premium coffees and oversee spot inventory management.
* Develop lasting relationships with roasters and partners across Europe.
* Work closely with origin teams to ensure product quality and traceability.
* Drive business development and identify new sales opportunities.
* Contribute to coffee selection and attend trade events across Europe.
Profile:
* Minimum 7 years of green coffee trading experience with an active book.
* Strong sales and relationship-building skills.
* Deep market knowledge, especially in Europe.
* Collaborative, analytical, and detail-oriented.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in German is highly valued.
* Passionate about coffee quality and sustainability.
