Here, you will have the opportunity to outperform yourself and learn something new every day, with each day bringing a unique chance to go Beyond. /p h3Your mission /h3 ul liLead the Discipline of Total Productive Maintenance for the Swiss Structure operations /li liEstablish a robust and standardised TPM programme for the Emmen facilities, revising current processes and standard operating procedures as needed /li liPlan, execute and deliver on scope, time and budget for all maintenance‑related activities /li liEnsure that the plant jigs, tools, machinery and equipment are in a safe operating condition by completing planned, preventive and corrective maintenance requirements; create and maintain a safe and compliant working environment through adherence to all internal and external regulations, policies and procedures /li liMaintain equipment in optimal production condition through adherence to the established TPM programme /li liEffectively and economically manage external resources to maintain equipment operations in accordance with applicable requirements /li liContinuously review production effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement and work with the Operations team to identify prevention actions that drive long‑term sustainment action plans /li liOversee plant and station/equipment reliability for industrial optimisation with a view to continuously reduce cost through improved equipment operation, maintenance and upgrades /li liManage and organise the critical equipment spare‑parts inventory and budget using lean manufacturing principles; establish optimal part quantities and re‑order points to mitigate machine downtime /li liContinuously develop and improve the plant’s maintenance planning system so that it is an effective tool that helps reduce unplanned downtime and cost, whilst increasing machine productivity and maximising throughput /li liLead according to BG Space’s values and code of conduct, and drive people, knowledge and leadership development /li /ul h3Most important outputs and KPIs /h3 ul liEstablish a comprehensive TPM programme roadmap, showing short‑, mid‑ and long‑term goals and activities /li liStrategically align within BGL the BPM‑TPM process and maintain as necessary /li liEstablish a BGLC Emmen TPM budget and maintain it year on year /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Material Science, Mechanical or Aerospace engineering /li liMinimum 3 years of company‑relevant experience /li liDemonstrate insight into quality and safety standards, including AS9100 and OSHA or similar /li liPreviously worked with tooling for processing composite, metallic and non‑metallic materials /li liExperience with automation and machining /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liSpace or Aerospace experience /li liLean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge/experience; experience with SAP or other ERP, MS Office /li liExperience with MES, CAD and other relevant complex software /li liIndustrie 4.0/5.0 knowledge /li /ul h3Why Beyond Gravity /h3 ul liWork in an international environment with a global mindset and high‑tech products that will fly into space /li liA highly specialised and motivated team with deep know‑how in a unique industry /li liWe live a hands‑on mentality and take suggestions for improvement seriously /li liAttractive employment conditions (contribution to public transport, trainings and development opportunities, full paid maternity and paternity leave and many more) /li liAt least five weeks of vacation with the possibility to purchase additional vacation /li /ul pBeyond Gravity is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
