We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Business Controller to join our team. This role is central to our financial operations, with responsibility for financial planning and analysis, treasury oversight, and accounting compliance. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, sound business judgment, and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly and effectively.
As a key partner to the CFO, you will help guide financial strategy and ensure operational excellence through strong governance, reporting accuracy, and process integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
* Development of business KPIs, management reports and dashboards to senior management
* Preparation of monthly and quarterly management reporting, including the group’s consolidation process and budget variance analysis
* Lead the group budgeting and forecasting processes
* Support the group cash flow rolling forecast and conduct scenario planning
* Manage project coding and cost tracking to ensure budget alignment
Treasury:
* Daily and strategic cash management across banking relationships
* Oversee the issuance and administration of letters of credit and bank guarantees
Accounting & Compliance:
* Act as the in-house expert on accounting standards (Swiss Code of Obligations, and IFRS or US GAAP)
* Support the group controller on the preparation of financial statements
Candidate Profile
* A bachelor’s degree in business administration.
* Minimum of 8 years of experience, ideally with a CPA (big four experience preferred)
* In-depth knowledge of the Swiss Code of Obligations and IFRS or US GAAP
* Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
* Dynamic and self-motivated with high drive, initiative and energy
* Strategic analytical skills to apply to financial data and modelling scenarios to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
* Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to details
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop trusting and sustained relationships across geographic distance and cultures
* Flexible, agile thinker, team player, pragmatic approach and solutions-oriented, accustomed to working with mid-size, multicultural, and fast-paced environments
* Fluency in English, written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus
* Hands-on experience working with ERP systems.
* Valid Swiss work permits.
