Duties and Responsibilities
I will fully embrace and safeguard the wellness philosophy, concepts, programs and brand initiatives. This includes spearheading and participating in our Mission Wellness activities. All aspects of these wellness and initiatives will be adopted and implemented throughout my department and its strategic planning and development.
I will manage the efficient operation of my department to provide exceptional products and services within Six Senses brand operating standards and budget.
I will assist in reviewing services, products and rates to remain relevant and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
I will regularly meet with the Director of Wellness / Spa Manager to plan next steps in spa operations and liaise with involved departments.
I will greet guests, upsell fitness and wellness activities, advise on proper clothing and shoes, serve water and towels for the fitness area, and maintain LQA standards.

Sustainability is at the core of everything we do at Six Senses. I will support directives on environmental protection and preservation, re‑usage and minimum wastage, purchasing and packaging such as the abolition of single‑use plastic, and set goals to improve performance.

Operational Ownership
I will work strategically with the Director of Wellness to develop cohesive and productive goals for my department and establish procedures and guidelines to achieve them. I will maintain overall consistency of the company’s vision, quality standards, and develop concepts consistent with brand identity.
I will keep abreast of industry trends and practices, update my knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering, and constantly assess and review processes to remain relevant and innovative in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
People Management
I am responsible for the management, performance and development of all hosts within my department through direction, encouragement, enthusiasm, discipline, performance evaluation and counselling to build a loyal, productive and effective team.
I will recruit the right people in collaboration with the Director of Wellness / Spa Manager, identifying potential internal and external candidates, and I will behave professionally, setting a positive precedent for all.
Responsible Business
All activities will be carried out ethically, honestly and within the parameters of local law. I will ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, hosts and hotel assets in compliance with hotel’s or owner’s policies and regulatory requirements, and maintain relationships with external contacts to encourage host involvement in community organizations and businesses.
Accountability
I am a personally involved, visible and proactive leader with excellent organizational skills, capable of providing focused direction. I possess strategic decision‑making capability and a track record of proven results in customer satisfaction, operational excellence, host satisfaction, revenue and profit.
Skills and Experience
I have at least three years’ experience in a similar or greater role in luxury spas and health clubs with proven results.
Ideally, I graduated from a Wellness or Hotel Management program and earned a degree or certification in fields such as Allopathic Doctorate, Ayurveda Doctor/Physician, Physiotherapy, Fitness and Nutrition, Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Anatomy and Physiology, or have broad knowledge of anatomy and physiology and massage therapy.
Technical skills include Advanced MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am familiar with various hotel systems including POS, PMS and CRM platforms, and I maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses guidelines, rules and regulations, brand and operating standards, facilities and services.
Sales and Promotion
* Achieve individual and group targets in sales as required, and promote the upselling of wellness services (wellness screening and wellness programs in particular), spa treatments, products, packages, special promotions, and Visiting Experts Calendar.
I have a thorough knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the property, including types of rooms, location and layout, selling status, rates, and benefits of all package plans, credit policy and reservation coding.
I will liaise with suppliers for the maintenance of the gym and biohacking equipment, support and follow up to ensure the Visiting Experts calendar is in place, and assist in developing spa packages and programs.
Legal and Compliance
Adhering to local laws, regulations and Six Senses guidelines, I will ensure safety, security and emergency procedures are maintained and updated.
Other Requirements
Specific days and timing are based on business needs, seasonality and local labor laws. The role requires standing and walking for extended periods of time and may involve travel for work‑related meetings and events.
