FAULHABER has been producing and distributing drive solutions in Switzerland for more than 60 years. In June 2023, the subsidiaries in Switzerland merged into a single company under the new name Faulhaber SA. The headquarters are located in Croglio, Ticino, where Faulhaber initially founded its first Swiss location in 1962.
The site in Croglio, located close to the Italian border, is covering an area of around 6600 m² and employs more than 350 people who develop and produce a broad spectrum of motor, gearhead and linear drive technology that form part of the extensive range of FAULHABER products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Technical and disciplinary management of an International Purchasing Team in Project Purchasing
2. Purchasing support for complex customer and product development projects
3. Implementation and support of specified strategic purchasing projects
4. Conducting price negotiations and concluding framework and project agreements
5. Close collaboration with the purchasing departments of the international FAULHABER subsidiaries
6. Taking on operational ordering and procurement tasks as required
7. Collaboration on the Maintenance and improvement of the Company Quality System
REQUIREMENTS
8. Completed degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering industrial engineering, or comparable
9. Several years of professional experience in technical project purchasing
10. Experience in an international environment and knowledge of supplier development and process optimization
11. Initial management experience or proven aptitude for assuming team responsibility
12. Willingness to travel internationally to our company locations and suppliers is required
13. Strong cost awareness, negotiation skills, and strong communication skills
14. Very good English skills, good German and Italian skills
