Your Responsibilities :
Take responsibility and actively promote tasks in a matrix-organized project with external development partners, focusing on your own work packages.
Participate in defining work packages, estimating, planning, and implementing them in a sprint-based agile environment, collaborating closely with product owners, scrum masters, architects, and developers.
Conduct activities across all phases of mechanical development, including feasibility studies, development, design review, unit testing, root cause analysis, bug fixing, and maintenance.
Define and perform detailed engineering analyses such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Tolerance Analysis, and simulations.
Execute technical reviews involving stakeholders from R&D, Operations, and Customer Support.
Take on mission-critical tasks and drive complex technical solutions.
Your background :
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
At least 8 years of relevant industry experience in MedTech
Extensive experience in material evaluation and design for manufacturing, serviceability, and sustainability at an expert level
Proven experience in injection molding design or plastic technologies, preferably in functional consumables with a focus on cost-optimized larger series
Deep experience in developing complex medical mechatronic systems and implementing components such as pumps, valves, actuators, sensors, and temperature control elements
Expertise in CAD for mechanical design (SolidWorks is a MUST), integrated with SAP, with compliance to ISO 5 / Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS) for 2D drawings and 3D models
Strong affinity for a methodical and systematic approach throughout all phases of product development, with a solid understanding of physics and engineering fundamentals
Strong technical project management skills, capable of independently leading external development partners and suppliers
