Lead Financial Auditor - Financial Processes
We are searching for an experienced Lead Financial Auditor - Financial Processes at our MSC Geneva facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
As Lead Financial Auditor - Financial Processes you will:
* Conduct comprehensive financial audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
* Investigate and identify potential financial fraud, irregularities, and discrepancies.
* Analyse financial data and transactions using SAP to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective fraud prevention measures.
* Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
* Provide recommendations for improving internal controls and processes.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial auditing, with a strong emphasis on financial fraud or forensic accounting.
* Proven experience in the shipping industry is highly desirable.
* Advanced Excel analysis skills and ability to work with big data, to process it and analyze it.
* Proficiency in SAP and other financial software.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* High level of integrity and attention to detail.
* Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English.
* French or Spanish desirable.
