Key Financial Management Role
This role encompasses the oversight and management of financial functions across a global organization.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving business objectives.
Responsibilities:
* Financial Statement Preparation: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of statutory annual financial statements for group companies.
* Tax Compliance: Coordinate tax calculations, annual tax reporting, and tax returns for the group.
* Consolidated Reporting: Oversee the creation of accurate quarterly and annual consolidated reports for the group.
* Accounting Firm Oversight: Manage VAT reporting and end-to-end accounting carried out by the accounting firm.
* Policies and Procedures: Collaborate with finance teams to create and update accounting policies, ensuring consistent financial reporting practices.
* Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with accounting firms and tax advisors on various projects, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
* Audit and Compliance: Lead audit activities, including impairment test activities, and provide recommendations for ERP or reporting improvements.
* Supportive Role: Provide ad hoc support to the finance department and assist regional finance heads in region-specific matters.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: A master's degree in economics or audit and accounting is required.
* Experience: Relevant experience in audit, controlling, or consulting (minimum 7/8 years) is necessary.
* Lleadership Skills: Ability to manage, guide, and lead employees effectively.
* Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting policies and IFRS reporting standards is essential.
* Technical Skills: Excellent IT and MS Excel/Office skills are required.
* Language Skills: Proficiency in written and verbal English is necessary.
