As a Regional Procurement Manager for Rigid Packaging - focusing on glass across Europe—you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing category strategies that directly impact our business performance and sustainability ambitions. A day in a life of a Regional Procurement Manager Rigid Packaging – Glass:
* Support the team for assigned tasks, including examples such as data management, forecasting, project support and other tasks
* Interact with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to monitor and drive progress for cost initiatives, source to pay challenges, sustainability, and responsible sourcing initiatives
* Learn the fundamentals of procurement category management to serve as a backfill when needed in support of the extended packaging team
* Manage the day-to-day procurement activities, RFx and contracting process for selected markets or businesses
* Contribute to develop and execute the category strategy to deliver value to the business from cost improvements, sustainability activities and ensuring supply
* Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies, and standards
What makes you successful
* University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain and/or Engineering.
* Confirmed experience in Procurement
* Expertise within the Rigid Packaging category and / or Glass would be a must
* Ability to work in an international and complex environment
* Strong command of Excel and at ease with SAP and PowerPoint
* Understanding of National and International Procurement Regulations
* Experience in ESG initiatives and knowledge of GHG emissions, understanding of Nestle ESG targets and requirements
* Fluent in English, another language will be an asset
