About the role
NAVIFY Algorithm Suite is a Roche-built software application which is hosted on the NAVIFY platform and designed to enable and consolidate individual (or group of) clinical high medical value algorithms, all in a one unique access point integrated to our customer network be it LIS or EMR.
For Roche Information Solution India, at our Rotkreuz (CH) location, we are looking for a Solution Train Engineer (STE), a motivated and committed person able to inspire our team oriented towards the values of passion, integrity and courage. The Solution Train Engineer (STE) is a critical leadership role in the SAFe framework, responsible for guiding and supporting multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to deliver large and complex solutions. The STE acts as a matrix leader, working collaboratively with teams, stakeholders, and other leaders to ensure successful delivery, alignment, and continuous improvement within the SAFe context.
Roche Information Solution India is part of Roche Information Solutions (RIS), which is a newly created business under Diagnostics division in Roche to provide integrated digital solutions to deliver on the promise of affordable, high quality, and accessible healthcare. RIS is accountable for the development and delivery of digital solutions, common Diagnostics architecture and data management. Digitalization in healthcare is of increasing importance to deliver customer and patient value, and shape healthcare. We are a Clinical Insights chapter under Architecture & Software Engineering function.
Main tasks:
1. Facilitate Solution Train events and processes, including PI Planning, Inspect and Adapt (I&A), and Program Increment (PI) Planning Retrospectives.
2. Coordinate the work of ARTs and Suppliers to ensure that the Solution Train is delivering value to the customer.
3. Support ARTs in delivering value by providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance.
4. Identify and remove impediments to the Solution Train.
5. Measure and learn how to improve the performance of the Solution Train.
6. Serve as a model of Lean-Agile Leadership to the Solution Train.
7. Coach leaders directly but collaborates more informally with other roles to increase the organization's Enterprise Solution Delivery (ESD) competency.
8. STE/SDL - Take over responsibility for the product development including delivery according to timeline, quality and budget in close alignment with the LCT Project Lead and in collaboration with Project Management
9. Project Planning - Create and maintain top level development plan according to planning process, align development activities in accordance with cross-functional dependencies and project risks, always managing the critical path
10. Project Controlling & Reporting - Continuously monitor and report fact based project progress, cost and quality vs. planning baseline, maintain project status presentation
Who you are
11. Experience working with large-scale agile delivery methods
12. Experience with DevOps methodology and CI/CD practices
13. Experience working with cloud computing platforms (WAS, Azure)
14. Strong Experience on Algorithm Development and SaMD
15. Needs to be SAFe certificated
16. Bachelors or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
17. 15+ years of software industry experience (preferably 3-4 years in software development/testing)
18. 8+ years of hands-on experience as scrum master / agile delivery (PO Syncs, System Demos, preparing for PI (Program Increment)
19. Knowledge of measurement domains outcomes, flow and competency at ART level
